Adventure Activities for Group (Min.20 Pax)
Various adventurous activities can be organised at the resort. Details are
as follows:
1. Shikhar Adventure Park
Indulge in 11 obstacle activities under the guidance of trained and
experienced instructor at Shikhar Adventure Park, Uttarkashi.

2. Rock Climbing/ Rappelling at NIM Rock
Climbing & Rappelling is conducted on artificial wall at Nehru Institute of
mountaineering with complete safety gear.
3. River Crossing & rescue at Asi Ganga
We organise river crossing on a medium size riverstream close to the resort.
All safety gears will be provided by us for undertaking this adventure.
4. Short Hikes
We organise small hikes /walks to the nearby mountain. These hikes go
through lush green valley along the small stream and the time ranges from
02-04 hrs.
5. Treks
Trekking is one of the main activities you can undertake while staying at
Shikhar Nature Resort, Uttarkashi. Various trekking tours could be
undertaken starting from one day long to six days, from easy to moderate
treks. We can also provide basic camping equipment and personal gear if
required at an additional cost.
a) Ayana Devi Trek - Day Trek
Cost Per Person: Rs.250 /-
Minimum person required: 02 pax
Set off on a fabulous trek to the beautiful Ayana Devi. Its a 4-5 hour trek,
this route passes along frothing mountain streams, quiet villages, and lush
green forests. We can provide packed lunch for this trek.
b) Nachiketal Trek- Day Trek
Cost Per Person: Rs.1300 /-
Minimum person required: 02 pax
Drive through the terraced fields takes one to Chaurangi Khal, a place 29
Kms. from Uttarkashi. From there, trek for 3 kms, through lush green forests
to Nachiketa Tal, a tranquil spot. A small temple at the bank of the lake
gives a serene look to it. Nachiketa, the devout son of saint Uddalak, is
said to have created this lake hence the name. Packed lunch can be provided
for this trek.
c) Dayara Bugyal Trek- 05 Days ( can be shorten to 04 days)
Cost: 02-04 pax - Rs. 12,915 per person
: 05-08 pax - Rs. 10,500 per person
Minimum person required: 02 pax
Bugyal in the local language means "high altitude meadow". The road to
Dayara Bugyal branches off near Bhatwari a place on Uttarkashi - Gangotri
road about 32 kms. from Uttarkashi. Vehicles can go up to the village of
Barsu from where one has to trek a distance of about 8 kms. to reach Dayara.
Situated at an elevation of about 10,000 feet above sea-level this vast
meadow is second to none in natural beauty. The panoramic view of the
Himalayas from here is breathe taking.

d) Dodital Trek - 05 Days
Cost: 02-04 – Rs.11640 per person
: 05-08 –Rs.9440 per person
Minimum person required: 02 pax
Dodital is situated at an elevation of 3024m, north of Uttarkashi and is
surrounded by dense forests of oak, pine, deodar and rhododendrons. The
crystal clear lake is full of rare fishes and the Himalayan golden trouts.
The trek ascends gradually through thick forest and beautiful mountainous
scenery. |
e) Gaumukh Trek - 06 Days
Cost: 02-04 pax – Rs.14540
:05-08 pax - Rs. 12000
Minimum person required: 02 pax
The River Ganges or the Ganga is the most sacred river in the Hindu religion
and its source at Gaumukh on the Gangotri glacier is one of the holiest
destinations for Hindu pilgrims. Our trek takes us to Gaumukh (translates to
cows mouth), the mythological source of the River Ganges, which is at the
snout of the Gangotri glacier.
